sorry guys, i don't see the appeal of these at $139.99+shipping. For just a bit more (~$200) you can get a pair of real japanese denim from any number of iconic japanese brands (samurai, fullcount, the flat head, etc). better quality denim, amazing construction, and a wider variety of cuts. i am just not seeing the value here.

moonbeamThe denim is from Yoshiwa Mills so still the same quality denim fabric used by some of those iconic Japanese brands. Some may subjectively choose these jeans because at least the construction is done by an American. It may be anecdotal, but I'll vouch for the quality of the construction from my pair from a previous drop that I've been wearing several days a week for months. For me, this cut fits me well. If he doesn't have your cut, he is a one man shop and may be choosing to concentrate on a select few patterns and denim choices and may not choose to expand if he continues to have enough sales with what he's doing.

GeewizGlad to hear they hold up well. I have yet to be disappointed with any brand of non-sweatshop denim I've tried so far.
