This is a copy of the Maxpedition Falcon. Note the stupid placement of the lower compression strap, it's attached outside the external pocket - that's what happens when a Chinese factory copies a better product without paying attention to details. I chose to pay the additional $ for the original, since I didn't want it to fall apart after 1-2 years of hard (ab)use.

YogaBearI have to agree. Many $10 copies of the falcon, maybe this is better. 600 denier isn't bad (maxpedition is 1050) but where this bag will fail is in the seams where the straps are sewn in and the zippers. Maybe this bag has quality zippers like ykk or something but possibly not. Also, it may not be as comfortable since the bag is a copy rather than designed and tested from the ground up... it could be very uncomfortable. I will stick with the maxpedition, which isn't even a high end bag like Mystery Ranch, Tactical tailor or Eberlestock.
