Got mine yesterday. Soldered on Gateron Browns today. I had grey Varmillo PBT keycaps and some left over pieces of GMK Carbon keycaps. Varmillo and GMK keycaps are very similar in profile so mix and match looks fine in terms of key cap height and rows. I placed them on the keyboard and they look great. GMK carbon kit had many odd size key caps, including the 1.75 u right space bar as well as 1u alt and ctl keycaps, thus great for this keyboard.
Couple of things I learned from setting this up. 1. Don't worry about the small piece of what looks like a transistor sticking up at the bottom of the PCB near the space bar. Leave that as is. When you put the switches into the top plate, you will see that they will automatically create about 2 mm separation to the bottom PCB. 2. Put in the stabilizers and test them out to be sure that the layout you want, will actually work. As the metal plate will cover the stabilizer bar, you can't put these in after you solder your switches. (Like others, I did not see any 7 U stabilizer wire, just the 6.25. I didn't need 7 u wire in any case) 3. As others have pointed out, you have to configure your keyboard for the default layout you want. This is not custom programming. Just a couple of key presses to pick default setup. 4. You have to put in a coin cell battery into the remote. It does not come with a battery. Not sure who decided to leave the battery out, considering how expensive the keyboard itself is. Once you have the battery inserted, then you should be able to turn the lighting effects on and off.
Keyboard looks and works great. Then again, GMK carbon, even if only covering a part of the keyboard would make any keyboard look great.

Wayne_Campbell_FanYup, I made the mistake of assembling the board without the stabs (I'd only used Costars before). Now I have to desolder everything to add them. Womp womp.
No 7U stab wire here, either. Seems like they didn't include that.

MoareYou can purchase plate mounted stabs, which is what I'll probably do since I'll need a 7u one too.

AthlonWill plate mounted stabs work on this board? It doesn't look like there's any place to mount them.
