I have an issue with my Pen that I put a ticket in to Support for and yet they oddly directed me here to get support instead.
As much as I like my retrakt and use it daily, I have a similar issue that others have also mentioned. I love the pen but the plunger is sticking and "gritty" for lack of a better term (it honestly feels like it is geared when rotating the plunger).
The pen has almost become a "press and twist lock" as I have noticed that it will not reliably retract fully without twisting the plunger and when I depress the plunger to extend the pen it will either stick partially open or open and then snap back "closed".

Well I did not realize that this was anodized silver instead of raw aluminum like the pictures suggest. Shame I was hoping to pair it with the bolt but they don't match at all now.

my experience is dont expect to carry this in a front pants pocket. the spring is not very stiff as you move about the tip gets repeatedly driven into the inside of your pocket causing ink stains after carrying for a week i went back to the zebra f-702

Sadly I have the aluminum karas retrakt and I clip mine in my front right pocket like you would a knife. I don't know if it's due to sitting while I drive or in a chair but my clickey is jacked up. I don't push it in and out fidgeting or in and out really hard but it's not working right at any means. Seems gritty and wants to stick. :(
