Gotta say I'm enjoying using the Retrakt, even a bit more than the Tactile Turn Mover and Shaker. Very light, the nock works perfectly and is smooth and it had no problem with the Pilot G2 refill it was designed for.
The only problem I had was when I tried to use a Moleskine gel roller on the Retrakt. I swapped the springs and inserted the black spacer prior to inserting the refill. But the black spacer that came with the Retrakt was too long by a couple of millimeters, since the tip of the refill poked out of the body even when retracted. Thinking that the refill was probably a bit out of spec, I swapped in a Schmidt easyFlow 900 medium blue, but with the same result. Fixed it by sanding down the black spacer a bit and now the refill tips don't poke out while retracted.
Other than that, the Retrakt is a nice pen body, simple and, so far, rugged.

JakeRobertsHad that same issue too!
Solved it by snipping the back of the refill instead – I have commitment issues. Does your refill rattle about if you shake the pen?

JakeRobertsAs much as I love my Retrakt, I won't go that far against the Tactile Turn. My Tactile Turn Mover is machined to perfection that you can't even see where the barrels connect. The barrels when screwing or unscrewing together is smooth and silent while the Karas Kustoms is grating (can be remedied with lubricant). The textured grip of the Mover is simply genius. You can hardly feel its there yet it's functional especially when your hands are sweaty or wet. If you have gloves during wintertime, the Mover is not gonna slip off because of that awesome grip. Even the smoothness of the clip's surface on the Mover, you can tell that Tactile Turn had been very careful with its details. But in no way does this change the function of my Retrakt. In fact, it has became my primary EDC pen for the single fact that I have no worries tossing and throwing it with my other pens, keychain or pocket flashlight and letting it swim in my pocket with other items because the alu surface of the body is VERY scratch resistant.

DesignThat's a negative; both the Moleskine and the Schmidt Easyflow refills stay put with no rattling. The standard Pilot G-2 refill does not rattle either. Sorry to hear about the problem, but I'm sure the Karas guys can sort the problem if you contact them.

StrummTotally agree, the Mover and Shaker I own are awesome pens. Like you said, I can't see the seam where both halves connect on the Titanium Mover, though on the Shaker it is apparent since it's anodized red (both halves have a different shade of red, so that makes spotting the seam easier). Also agree that the circular ridges on the Mover\Shaker's tip add excellent grip; can't speak about using gloves with the Retrakt, seeing as I live in the Caribbean, but I understand your point. And it's probably because of the weather here that I don't have a problem with gripping the Retrakt; it doesn't have the Mover\Shaker's rings, but the raw finish does it give enough grip, at least for me.
Like others users have reported, the clip on the Retrakt is not on perfectly straight, but in my case the crookedness does not come from the attachment points, but rather from the fact that the main bend on the clip (right after the screw attachment points) was not done straight; it skews slightly to the right. Knowing that the crookedness is there irks me sometimes, but you REALLY have to look closely to see the difference. Either way, the clips does it's job admirably; it engages easily and it holds the pen tightly.
I have all three pens in my rotation (plus a Vanishing Point and a Metropolitan), but since receiving it, the Retrakt now shares equal time with the Ti Mover as the pens I always carry on me. It's definitely not as refined as the Mover\Shaker, but an excellent carry nonetheless. All the pens I'm currently using are awesome; the VP is super smooth, that took me by surprise!
