Please, allow me to clear up a few misconceptions here in the comments- 1.- ETA makes the Valjoux 7750. 2.- Power reserves are NOT set in stone; any watchmaker can easily change this by changing the mainspring. If you see a differing number, do not fret. It doesn't mean it isn't an "authentic" Valjoux 7750. 3.- This watch is, most certainly, a chronograph. Does the watch track/record (graph) time (chrono)? Then it is a chronograph. Dial layout or register choice does not change this, so long as it is graphing time. Hope this helps. If you have any questions, please ask. E

mrfuriouserCan't understand why people are saying this is not a chronograph either... the description states it uses a Valjoux 7750, the dial has running seconds, chrono minute and chrono hour subdials, this particular Valjoux also has a day/date complication, and it has dual pushers to operate the chrono... so what gives? Am I missing something?
If it's because of the power reserve, Valjoux movements range from 38 to 44 hours of power reserve; that's normal with ETA movements, depending on the manufacturer's needs/specs. My Victorinox Alpnach has a 42 hour reserve and it uses a 7750.
Or maybe it's the fact the title doesn't explicitly state it is a chronograph. MD, for some odd reason, emphasized the day/date function and neglected to point out the obvious, or maybe that's how Revue Thommen describes this model officially, but if MD is using the correct pictures for this model, then it is, in fact, a chronograph. You can also clearly see the stock Valjoux 7750 rotor in the caseback picture.
Here's a pic of the rotor on my Alpnach for comparison.

JakeRobertsBingo. I would also like to know the source of this new chronograph definition. Sadly, some people believe everything they read without checking additional sources or first thinking about it for themselves. Thanks for the great reply Jake!

mrfuriouserHere's a pic of a 7750 in my Fortis, tried to get the same angle you showed. Mine runs great! How's the Victorinox treating you? I like their watches- very high quality over the past few years, a clear step above their older models. I have 1 auto and 1 quartz from them.

mrfuriouserIt's the only mechanical chrono I own and it's been working great! Got it here after first getting a Victorinox Cloud de Paris that had a stuttrering chrono seconds hand. The Alpnach has had no issues going close to a year after purchase.
I've always liked Fortis' styling, nice watch sir!

JakeRobertsI think what has happened is that a previous version of this drop was for the standard three hand day/date version of the Airspeed, while this new drop is for the chronograph.
Just a guess, but I can't come up with any other explanation that makes sense.
