I have been carrying this light daily for 10 months now. Still works great. Replaced the battery three times since new. Patina has started and the light looks like a used penny. ATTN: Rey I would like to know if I can purchase a new pocket clip. Let me know how. Clip was snagged on something while climbing, found the light in my pocket, clip is some where in the wild.

This is a cool looking light. I just don’t like the runtimes you get out of it. The lowest mode is kind of useless 0.3 lm is way low but for 100 hrs medium is good but only 40 mins at 170 lm and high at 380 for 20 mins? i’m using a 10440 li-ion btw. Oh and lastly the wire keychain attachment is far from secure. One little yank and your light is gone. It’s by no means a ‘bad’ light but they could have done much better at the runtimes. And made a secure keychain attachment. My surefire titan plus gets the most usage of all the AAA size lights I have gotten over the years. It’s way expensive but the output for a normal battery rivals a lot of lights that can take a 10440 and the run times are darn good and you get 2 options for keychain attachment. One completely secure and the other. The black plastic quick release at least takes a harder yank to come out

jack.shenYes, I love copper but the run times on this make it seem near useless. I have a Nitecore Tini on my keychain which is ugly in comparison but way more useful.

ponagathosAnd other thing is the keychain attachment on the reylight is useless. It’s just like a wire that just barely sits/clips in the holes. They don’t go all the way through. So a little yank and your light is gone. You would think that for something that looks as high quality as the aaa reylight would have a better way of attaching it to your keys edit: doh! Repeated myself about the key chain attachment. Should have read my own prior post. Lol. But i’m Seeing to many cases of this. Especially from China. Would it really take that much to just drill the hole all the way though? Instead of making 2 ‘dents’

Hi, I bought the Pineapple AAA light I have been using a rechargable AAA battery in it, however whenever I turn it on it is on a very low mode. I twist it off for a slight moment and back to on and the light mode does not change. Has anyone else encountered this issue and if so, how can i fix it or does anyone think I have got a faulty unit? I have the maratac AAA Ti light and tried the same batteries in it and it works fine.... Would really appreciate anyones help and/or experience. Thanks

TheDigicoreYou may have to twist back on faster. I don think this light has a long ‘memory’ and also you can probably pull on the spring inside a bit so it pushes against the contact on the head side harder. I was using a longer type of lithium ion battery and the newer ones I got were a tad shorter. When I first stared using the shorter battery it didn’t cut on because the spring was not pushing the battery against the positive contact hard enough.

So just got delivery and this is what I got. Clearly NOT what was advertised. The clip is different and is crooked out of the box. The keychain “ring” is much thinner/flimsy. The edges of the texturing is sharp and unfinished. Unlike in the photos of the drop where the edges look beveled and not 90 degree angles. It appears the one I received resembles the version on amazon. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B076YDYTS5 I will be contacting Drop CS about this.

Lots of comments here ... I like the twist to turn on and off , prevents it turning on accidentally in pocket. It looks like the pocket clip is reversible so it can clipped on a baseball or hardhat. Am I correct? I may epoxy it in that position as I have lost similar lights due to clip falling off. I have also lost a similar light attached to my keychain due to the wire keychain hole becoming bent.. is that hole it clips into a full pass through so I could possibly make a lanyard out of braided fishing line.

Just checking, how is this different than the copper AAA reylight on Amazon? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B076YDYTS5 I'm a big fan of reylight and want to make sure I'm getting the correct one.

It's not mentioned in the description, but I presume these are still being made with the L-M-H level-sequence?
