Can anyone recommend a cover for the #16 top bound pad? I know Rhodia makes a leatherette one but I was hoping for one of better quality.

The vendor has let us know that the group's order was picked up and is on its way to our warehouse now. Based on the tracking provided these are scheduled to come in 12/10. Our warehouse team has been forwarded tracking info and will be standing by, ready to get these packed up and turned around as soon as they come in.
Sometimes shipments get delayed en route, not to worry as we will keep the group posted throughout the process and notify you all if anything causes delay.

They currently expect the bulk order to arrive at their warehouse by the middle of the coming week. As soon as the order comes in the vendor will ship the group's order to the warehouse. For the second batch the vendor is currently waiting for their allocation of the following units to arrive at their warehouse. This batch includes the Rhodia No.18 Black and Rhodia No.16 Orange.

An update for the group, we have received tracking info for several different drops that we are running with this vendor. We are still awaiting the tracking information for this particular shipment. The increased fulfillment time is due the vendor's warehouse team sorting and inventorying a recently received container from France. This container includes Massdrop's orders in addition to many other distributors and retailers pending orders as well. As such there is a wide assortment of items and quantities and it is admittedly taking a lot of manpower and more importantly time to sort through.
In talking to our representative we have made it clear that we would like this order to ship as soon as possible. Based on our conversation they should now be able to get this order packed and on its way by the middle of this week.
We also understand the communities frustration with the additional fulfillment time, because of the late ship date we are offering the option to get a full refund. An update for the group, we have reached out to the vendor and are expecting shipping confirmation from them today. We haven't heard back from them quite yet, however we fully anticipate hearing back from them on Monday with more concrete shipping information.

An update for the group, the second batch of the order has arrived at our vendor’s warehouse. The vendor is currently wading through the contents of the container, inventorying all the inbound units. As soon as the contents of the container are counted up and matched with the group's order the vendor will ship it out. We are pushing them to get the group's order shipped before the end of the week.
Once we receive tracking info we will forward it to our warehouse team and make it their top priority to get your orders bundled and shipped immediately.

Is it true that the drivers have not been updated for Windows 8.1 support? Seems like a major problem seeing as Windows 10's release is getting real close.
The shipping cost is prohibitive. I can get them cheaper at my local book shop.
Ummm...... $20.70 shipping? As much as I want it... no thanks!
As an international buyer. I can see very minor savings. But what confuses me the most is that, if I remember correctly rhodia comes with mostly 80gsm paper, the premium ones come with 90gsm. And I don't see any identification of that. But if they are indeed 90gsm, then the large notebook No. 18 itself costs a bit over $10. Which means that in grand total, with my shipping, there is a small savings amount(compared to buying from other online stores). But the import tax just crushes all that.
I'm having trouble seeing the savings here.

First and foremost sorry for the additional delay after these arrived on the 10th. Most orders in fact have shipped, but it looks like the vendor again short shipped us and due to this your orders haven't been fulfilled yet. We reached out to another vendor and ordered those units and they are on the way. The new vendor let us know that those units should arrive this Friday.
We are going to do a couple of things for the handful of you affected. It's a bit late and CS is out of the office now, but they will be emailing those of you affected personally before noon Pacific Time with specifics on how we are going to make this up to you.
Again apologies for missing update after it was promised and the delays faced during this drop. We are working with the first vendor to make sure additional steps are taken to ensure that this doesn't happen again.
