Wish there was a drop for less than 5, even at a higher price. I've never tried Rhodia notebooks so I'm hesitant to spend $60 on 5 notebooks I may not like. :/

YarannaOver 250 people voted for them, so that gives a good idea that these are at least desirable notebooks: https://www.massdrop.com/vote/rhodia-webnotebook/result. Users asked for it, so we gave it to them.
Also, this http://lifehacker.com/five-best-paper-notebooks-1157038442. We work with Moleskine and Whitelines as well. Leuchtturm1917 is next and we will eventually get Field Notes once they stop becoming popular and their inventory levels are not 0.

andyThanks for the response. I'm just a little set in my ways after 6 years of Moleskines. I'll have to ruminate a bit before I take the plunge.

YarannaYou definitely can't go wrong with Moleskines. People argue that Rhodia has higher quality paper, but of course that comes at a premium. If you're writing with a nice fountain pen with some nice ink, splurge on the Rhodia, if you just have a bunch of G2 and HI-TEC-Cs, Moleskines are just fine.

YarannaI used to use Moleskines, too. However, Rhodia paper is far superior for either pen or pencil. I find that the covers are a little thicker than Moleskines and the elastic band doesn't wear out as fast. As much as I've liked my Moleskines and used them in the past, I find the Rhodia to be superior in about every way.

andyYou really really really can go wrong with moleskine, as any FP user will find out. If you are a fountain pen user, you can't go wrong with Clairefontaine paper, which I believe Rhodia uses.

Dark_EtherealTheir paper is made at the same factory as Clairfontaine but it is a slight variation on the recipe. -Source: Goulet Pens on their Ink Nouveau blog
