JubilantBearPresumably only when he's not in the mood for something more exotic.
Wait what am I saying, of course he doesn't eat while he works, have you seen his anodization jobs?
The man is a master of titanium.

OmniseedIs he famous or something? I'm not much of a fanboy of any designer or owner. I appreciate each knife on its own merits regardless of names. I only know these (forgive any spelling): Sal Glesser Spyderco Les Diasis Benchmade Ernest Emmerson Marphione ofMicrotech I don't know Striders first name, but certain it is his last name ..can't think of any more

lmnopHe's very well known in the designer knife industry, like Liong Mah, like Tashi Bharucha, like Mick Strider (more like notorious in his case), the Williamson brothers of Ferrum Forge, to a full-on enthusiast his name is likely to be familiar at this point.
He's also the brother of the owner of CH Knives, which is why they did that neat kwaiken collaboration (803CH?) recently.
The thing about the Chinese knife maker's market, is that you either get familiar with it or you act suspicious of it. Rike, Reate, and WE are putting out almost peerlessly good work and none of them have a reputation for screwing people with shoddy workmanship.
Someone here or on Reddit broke the tip of their Rike and the company shipped him a new one, that's not the kind of operation that deserves to be treated like a fly-by-night hackjob shop.
