Where can I pick this up?
Looks bad ass, I'm in...

I'll skip a couple meals for this. Lol
It actually a pretty good deal, i just wished these Rike knives are smaller and more edc friendly
Is it just me or does it look like a poor take on Elijah Ishams design language? Perhaps the better question is did he design this?
IMO, the pics do not do it justice, you definitely have to watch a few videos to appreciate how nice this really is. That said, I'm not a big fan of cutouts in the scales. A solid handle would have sold it, for me anyhow. Still a fine looking knife, just not for me.
My personal opinion is Rike knives quality control is inconsistent. For me WE and Reate knives are the better option. Having said that Rike knives have very unique designs and if one ever catches my eye I will join the drop because I'm confident in massdrop's customer service to fix any issue that may arise.
According to Fedex, my Rike Knife M2 in Dark Gray has been shipped and is currently 78 Miles away away from me. Expected delivery says Monday. I'm hoping to have this sexy beast in my hands on Fri. or Sat.

It looks like someone held the corner of that piece with their finger tips and dipped it into the solution until it turned blue, except for the portion they were holding. : ) Maybe the piece just wasn’t cleaned very well before they anodized it. Massdrop was pretty good about it...they gave me a partial refund and I kept the knife.

I guess that's possible too, who knows? :) Either way, i actually like it. Between that and the mottling in the purple groove... It adds character 👍
Wow, I must have missed this while on vacation.
Iam so glad I bought this model looking forward to getting it in my hands I own a thor model and love it it's hands down my most snappy best detent knife I own so I hope this one will be the same💪

How much did this one go for in the drop?

OK, sell it to me, why do I want this knife, or why "don't" I want this knife
Given the quality on fit and finish in the last two drops, I'm very tempted to jump in.

I recently bought into the 1504A and 1507S drops (like a month or so ago). The fit and finish of both are impeccable. I will say the detent on the 1504A is pretty stiff, but not enough to detract from the piece. MD is pretty good about customer service. Before you buy anything it's best to do your research, sometimes they miss things on the description or flub some details. Also if you're like me and have a habit of immediate disassembly, make sure it won't void the warranty. Disassembly makes RMA on this kinda stuff infinitely harder.
Massdrop's customer service has fixed every issue I've had. They are not fast in their response times but imo they value us and understand it's our hard earned money that keeps the lights on.
Why isn't the dark grey an option? It looks the best to me with the blue accents. Do you guys think the option here is the same thing, or not?

Yeah, I'm hoping it's the same one. From these pics on massdrop it appears like it's the black wash, but mixed with the blue hardware. I guess on the other sites it appears a little darker like in the vid.

Damn, it's alot bigger than I thought it would be! It looks kinna thick too! hmmm
The only reason I still have my Rike-HX ZD006 is because it's got an action that is flawless and the titanium is unbelievably well milled and finished.
It's techno ugly and kind of heavy given the enormous slab of S35VN, and the edge is nice enough to nip my thumb as often as any other guillotine. The pocket clip was originally useless due to excessive strength, but I worked on it and discovered that the clip is like the rest of the knife.
Basically perfect, very committed to the design approach taken, and a little intimidating at first.
I bet this knife is going to have a phenomenal action and the blade is still too thick, but the grind looks sharp and it might still be a good cutter.
Looks like something a Stormtrooper might be issued from the Empire.

Am I not seeing it right or does the pocket clip just hang out over that cut out in the handle?

From what I can tell, it appears the ball rests right on the corner of the cutout.

Oh ok I see what your saying now. Wile still not ideal it's better then hanging out in mid air.
Rike's fit and finish has been somewhat questionable from what I've heard in the past. For example even in these pics the etching on the pivot looks poorly done. It's definitely an interesting design though and $200 doesn't seem bad... I feel like there may be kinks to work out though. Decisions decisions...

I had purchased a different Rike earlier in the year but returned it as the anodizing was a mess and a lot of the details were poorly milled with lots of unintended scratches (massdrop was really cool about helping me out with the return). The knife overall looked very nice but I couldn't get past the questionable QC. I will buy Rike again as their designs are very cool but I will wait for a knife that has been sold at least one time previously in order to read reviews.

Also, a bit surprised they don't have any in their crazy two-tone anodizing they're known for.
Boy, they've really got the Brous Blades fever. Must be nice not having to work too hard to design your knives. :D

I never bothered to learn much about Brous, because I'm not a big fan of the HR Giger look of the designs I've seen. I'm sad to hear about quality issues though, because I do like the look of the TJ Schwarz design they are making (icon maybe?) but I'm not paying $150-200 for D2 unless the quality is outstanding.

Brous will charge more like $400+. Guy is a rip-off.
This is one badass looking knife

Even more badass in person!
Not my cup of tea, but I appreciate the design details, like how the flipper curve flows into the finger cut and the jimping transitions into the handle cuts. The blade cutout line transitions smoothly with the grind line to go all the way to the spine - which has a subtle curve. The point is fierce-looking. I just don’t care for the handle’s look, despite how nicely the lines of the blade flow into the handle detailing. Truly elegant design in the blade and it’s nice to see real design skill.
5mm blade thickness? Dang that's Medford thick. Did not expect that from the long pointy look of it.

‘Medford thick’?! Lol! Medford products earned my respect operating flawlessly in extreme conditions. I was a Medford fan for a very long time And carried an Arktika daily for a year. That’s a serious chunk of metal, for sure. I became a fan of thinner knives and prefer them almost always but I still come back to the Medford when the fecal material is in motion and on a vector to intersect with the stand-alone electrical/mechanical ventilation machine!
