I'm not a gimmick-buyer, but somehow, this makes sense to me. When I first saw it, my only response was "Pfffft. Unreal." But as I thought about the several multi-tools I already have, it occurred to me that they are all deficient either because of the materials used to make 'em (most are low-grade steels on frame and blades), or because of the short blade-lengths, or because of tools that could only appeal to drunks (or at least drinkers, neither of which am I, so what use I'd have for a corkscrew or bottle opener just so I can get a 1.5" to 2.5" blade, saw, file and pliers/wire-cutters is an enigma wrapped in a mystery to me (or however that goes)). I have decent Leathermans with pliers/cutters in my car and my bike, as well as in the house and garage/shop, but none of 'em have a strap (seat-belt) cutter, none of the frames are Titanium, none of the blades are VG-10 or 3.5" inches long, and certainly none of 'em have a slingshot. Doubt it's a serious slingshot capable of generating enough energy to kill anything bigger'n a squirrel, but hey, I was a kid once and got pretty darned good at slingshotting, so I could at least have some fun with it. And if push came to shove and I was caught without a .22 in a survival situation, well, I'd at least have a fightin' chance of baggin' a squirrel or bird or mouse for something to eat. Not sure I want to spend $175 bucks for the knife blade, the longer saw or the strap-cutter, but I am thinkin' about it.....

BlueTomLeatherman Charge TTI. Bought it specifically for the titanium and S30V. Also has a pretty good line cutter.

RJESI've already got a non-Ti Charge, as well as two Waves, plus a Squirt, two variations of Juices and some older ones whose names I don't even remember. The steel is acceptable to me in the Charge and Waves (154CM), but the blades are still short and no strap cutters in any of 'em. If I had my druthers, every tool with a cutting edge that I buy would be S30V (or more modern variants), but I can't justify buying another Charge or Wave with all the same tools that I already have just to get the higher-grade steel or the Ti frame. This drop offers more variation in tool combinations for somewhere between $10 and $50 bucks more (depending on where one were to buy the Ti/S30V versions of the Leathermans from). Still haven't decided to jump on it, but I still might. Thanks for the suggestion in any case.
