Got one a few weeks ago in the last drop. Love this little thing. The almost iridescent green is mesmerizing. Careful! Mine is as sharp as a razor. However, I can't get it to flip - too tight perhaps? Need to figure out how to loosen it a but.
Do you folks have any other recommendations for small knives like this?

glennacThese are definitely a bit hard to flip, with that tiny little tab, takes quite a bit of pressure. If you don't mind the idea of taking it apart, mine worked better after disassembling, cleaning, re-oiling, reassembling, then loctite the pivot pin to just where the blade is centered and no tighter.
If you don't want to do all that, just flip it a couple hundred times and it should wear in :)
Oh, and if it isn't obvious, make sure you aren't putting any pressure on the lockbar when you're flipping it. Easier said than done on a knife this small, but very important nonetheless

glennacDisassemble it and use 10wt Nano Oil (can be had off Amazon) to lube the bearings. It SHOULD assemble pretty snugly and when the screws are fully tightened and loc-tited, it will flip, but you'll need to use your fingernail. The detent is REALLY strong. I imagine it's the only way they could make such a light blade actually flip.

KavikKavik, I would be interested to know how you get the pivot screw out for future cleanings? If I understand correctly ..., the female pivot free-spins. Any chance you could give it a try and comment back? I am on the fence regarding free spin pivot for the reason mentioned above.

SpeyYeah, i had to go open one to check, been a while since I played with them.
Yes, it's a free spinning pivot, but I had no trouble just pressing a finger into the RK logo just enough to hold it while loosening

Maugust09I know this wasn't aimed at me, but I had to look that up as it's a brand I'm not familiar with, and I'm a curious sort 😁
Those Maserin's are cute, but not very impressed by basic slip joint minitures, those sorts can be found all over the place for as long as I can remember. To me, the 'crazy' here is the fact that it's a flipper and frame lock in this tiny package

KavikI have a tiny knife collection with some cool pieces, obviously these arent my workhorses lol. The twosun is probably the same size as the rike hummingbird (havent pulled the trigger on that one just yet). Theyre great novelty pieces and i always get some nice comments on that part of my collection

Maugust09Yeah, I've been enjoying carrying smaller knives lately, but not this small lol I like that I own a couple of these, they're cool pieces, but they don't see any use

KavikMy sweet spot is 3-3.25 for edc. I have probably almost 75 knives now that are strictly for collection only, including my tint knife collection. Usually have anywhere between 5-10 for my edc rotation.

Maugust09That's around where I've been recently too... Though I've got a RaidOps Blue Shark that I love carrying lately that clocks in at just over 2 1/2"

KavikIm very curious. I believe twosuns knives are made by kizer but could be mistaken. Im sure if they gather enough popularity, and they are, theyll be more readily available stateside.

Maugust09I don't know about who makes them, but they have some stupid cheap titanium handled knives
I'm not expecting too much out of it, but hoping to be pleasantly surprised
