Well put, I have a pair of AKG K712 pros as well and they are amazing for gaming. Totally agree.

FrankDrebinI just sold my AKG K7XX and bought the AKG K712 Pro. Yes, the K712 Pros are amazing cans and more than shine for gaming. I highly recommend them for an all-around headphone and a gaming set of cans. For gaming only I would recommend the Audio Technica ATH AD700X, but if you're looking for more than just gaming I would recommend the AD1000X or the K712 Pro above anything else.
