For anyone who has never used Rohrer & Klingner, I own the Iron Gall Scabiosa, so I only speak of that ink. The ink is very good for a document ink. It's very water resistant and will hold up for a very long time. It's not real special in any other way but is a good reliable ink. It's currently my goto ink for anything that I want to last. The color of Scabiosa is like a very old and faded iron gall ink laid down in the 1800s. The old iron gall inks would fade to this red/purple tint after a few decades. The colors and properties of this ink is not as impressive as something like Iroshizuku, but it's also far less expensive. I'll be evaluating my expendable cash later this week to make sure I can get in on this as I would like to have the Iron Gall Salix in my collection.
Does anyone know if you can select multiple of the same color in this drop?
