Received mine, which were of the heavy metal persuasion.  Success!! I no longer can hear my wife snoring like a sailor.  Only down side is that for me, they are yet to be " barely there".  Quite uncomfortable, and a nuisance to remove.  I am hoping that this will change with wearing them regularly.

chuck1252You'd probably be better off with mack's earplugs, which is rated for 32db, as in your case fidelity of sound is most likely not a concern.

AzureSerenityThe heavy duty plugs from the big box store used for building construction didn't even cut the noise.  I THINK she was a sailor in another life.  And pray she doesn't see this.  lol

chuck1252Could you provide me with a link to the specific kind of ear plugs you purchased? I was also wondering if you could hear an alarm clock even tho it blocked out snoring? My husband's snoring is chain saw LOUD and my medical condition warrants that I MUST be able to sleep full and soundly.

missarethaApologies for not responding earlier.  I purchased the Roth C&P Earplugs, with 27 db Heavy Metal Protection.  I tested them using an alarm clock and my iPhone alarm, and did not hear either one.  I hope you find an answer.  I feel your pain.

missarethaI find that they normally fall out before morning, (although I've got two dogs that are causing me to move a lot) so I end up hearing my alarm in time. Hope that helps.
