I'm a violinist so I bought the purple set for symphony rehearsals/concerts. It's perfect for those really loud sections when the brass and the percussion are going ham, but for quiet moments I have a difficult time hearing the rest of my section. It makes blending my sound difficult.
Over-all, they're good for what I bought them for, but not perfect for every situation.
And this is user error on my part, but I have no idea how to get the filter in to the smaller shells. I think they'd fit my ears a lot better but I can't find anything that says how to take them apart.
Edit: Changed my review to 4 stars because the smaller shells are perfect for me.
Captain_SquabHello, i also had to get the filters in the smaller shell. The fit is great for my small ears canals. To make the change of shells, look for the video « How to Install and Remove Attenuation Filters for Eargasm High Fidelity Earplugs » on the eargasmearplugs.com website.
