How does this compare to the 600 though? I dont really notice any difference from the exterior appearance

DaichizugizakiThe barrel itself is made of plastic. The plastic is by no means flimsy, and both the grip, the shirt clip, and the top lead grade dial (not the cap) are made of metal. the two are very similar, although I personally prefer the 500 over the 600 due to the lighter weight, and (at least for me) better balance.
