Featuring a hexagonal metal barrel, a sliding sleeve to protect your lead, a pocketclip, and a knurled grip, each rOtring Rapid Pro Mechanical Pencil makes a substantial upgrade to your stationery selection.Both the 0.5 and 0.7 mm lead models come with an eraser cap and a cushion lead mechanism that loads through the top and pushes out in small increments through the tip. For the 2 mm lead model, that eraser is replaced by a lead sharpener and the lead is guided through a controlled push mechanism. Like most 2 mm pencils, you load the lead in through the tip, but instead of spilling all of your lead out, the mechanism carefully pushes out the lead one small increment at a time.
