Looking at other wooden wrist rests, because I know the one I bought is going to fail. The ones made by Filco and KBParadise have relief cuts in the wood on the bottom going vertical evenly spaced about 3-4" apart. I'm sure they are there to stop the wood from warping. I think RG needs to give up on the double sided idea of this faulty wrist rest and do the same to the wood if they want to keep them from warping and craking, or just make the entire thing out of marble.
