Despite the shipping complications, I am happy with this set. For $20 you can't really have high standards, but these look pretty great for the price. Totally aesthetic, and not at all a permanent set, but I may actually pick up the green and blue variants next time this drops.
Pictures below are on a Ducky Shine 3 with white backlighting and the purple caps.

SuembeauxUsed them since day one and I don't see a reason to not leave them. So I don't understand the permanent thing. If you like them, keep them, good luck finding anything close to LED quality like this.

BrainFlushI prefer PBT, this set has little to no texture, and I like a good amount of texture. I am also moving away from OEM profile to shorter profiles. This is a great set--for the price--but it does not compare to some other PBT sets I am using in terms of feel, which is the most important aspect to me. The vortex backlit keys are superior to these in every category IMO.

SuembeauxPBT is great. No denying that. But I find that these caps have a beautiful soft texture that's almost like a perfect shave in the morning and they're thick plus the added bonus of LED compatibility makes them a steal.
Now my Vortex black caps that I received had the worst QC I've been unlucky to experience and they have plastic overflow where the light is supposed to shine through. I had to refund them for that reason plus I received different row profiles for the alphas and stems that weren't properly molded. Horrible first purchase of their caps and sadly last. And as everyone knows the white Vortex have ridiculous bleed through. They might be the only PBT LED caps and affordable but that only goes so far.
People hate this font and others don't mind it. I'm not staring at them all day. Still an amazing price and quality cap.

BrainFlushCompletely agree. I purchased both Vortex PBT and RK Doubleshot Caps; the texture isn't as nice on the RK caps, but the QC is much better and they seem cleaner. I actually prefer my RK caps over the Vortex ones - they're even semi-backlit, provided you match the LED color with the letter color.

BrainFlushQuality control is much higher because there is much less complication to dealing with ABS than there is PBT or POM. These caps are fine for the price, I actually just received the Ducky YOTG set from MK.com because I picked up a Disco not too long ago and I like them more.
They address some of the issues I was having before with the wider legends not being fully lot by replacing certain legends with symbols instead of words. There are no secondary commands on the numpad cleaning up that section by a lot. The font on the Alphas is a bit better as well as larger. Lastly this set actually has texture. I do like the squared edges and the pure white color on the RK set, as the Ducky set is round and more of an off white.
I still favor the Vortex set over both of these despite QC issues. If you are not staring at them all day as you say, I am not sure why you would mind the Vortex QC issues either, because there were only aesthetic issues.

BrainFlushMan, I couldn't agree more. All my legends are inconsistent, bumpy surface.

BendyBentoSucks they sacrifice QC and actual quality for price. I would gladly pay more if it meant they were perfect.
