I think it's odd that this keyboard picture has per key LED's yet their pic looks nothing like what their keys look like on my KC60 (I was part of the first KC60 drop), which happens to be dropping right now. My backlighting is turned all the way up and my LED's are on the top side of my switches, which may be part of the reason. Also you all should know that these keys are delivered in an excellent foam padded casing. You can reuse the packaging for another keycap set very easily. All in all these are really nice caps, which do have a certain amount of "shine thru". Also the color you choose will reflect back toward your key plate, making for an even more ambient color glow. Check it. I know my spacebar is upside down. The lighting effect looks silly cuz it won't show through that little line of color on this space bar so I flipped it. Doesn't affect me typing skillz et all. lol. That was a funny.

I forgot to mention my con on this drop. I detest the font. But shine thru caps of different colors are hard to come by and I made a compromise. I guess I should mention that I soldered blue LED's to the bottom of this PCB, directly soldered to the outer ring of switches that also have white LED's soldered to those switches on the top. You can kinda notice less brightness from the outside ring of illuminated keycaps here, but it's just barely noticeable, especially in person. The TEK acrylic case nicely distributes the illumination from the bottom mounted LED's without serious resistor mods. I guess I've been using this setup on/off for about 8 or so months now and haven't had any LED or power issues thus far. If anyone really needs a shot of my bottom mount work, just hit me up and I'll post a pic. Happy Modding!
