I like the keyboard personally. Bought it on the last massdrop. I had mx blues which were great for typing but they were loud and being made by razer they broke after a year or so due to the cable on the keyboard not because of the cherry mx keys. So I went with something more durable like the Ducky shine 4 mx browns. I also really liked the ducky shine being more quiet and having better build quality. I found mx brown not as good for typing however I liked it more for gaming. The RC930 seems well constructed although I would have preferred a usb cable attachment due to my previous experience with razer keyboard. Based on reviews from those that have the realforce, novatouch, hhkb, etc is that it is similar to a "50"g silenced (dental banded) topre with less tactility.
I think this makes it a good compromise for people like me who use keyboards for typing on forums and for gaming. I guess in a way it is like genuine topre being the blues while the rc930 being the browns. If you really wanted purely gaming keyboard then most would recommend cherry mx red/black but also a lot of it has to do with preference. Some gamers like to have some tactile feedback which makes both mx red/black and mx brown very popular for gamers. So yea that is my thought process is that if you are "typist" just buy a hhkb, hhkb silenced, or realforce (if you need the full keyboard) and pay the 200+ dollars for them since you will end up wanting to upgrade to them anyway. But if you are someone who types a little bit here and there and also buying a keyboard for gaming and want to try something more "topre-like" then I think this keyboard is great especially if you are like me and want backlight for gaming in the dark and enjoy the rgb color aesthetics.
It also doesn't hurt your wallet as much as a pure topre but I personally can't justify with how little I really type on a day to day basis to pay 200+ dollars for a keyboard. I just want something well built that will last me many years. The shine will continue to be used on my 2nd computer since I needed a second keyboard anyway and i personally like this over the mx brown and enjoying the tkl aspect since my mouse isn't bumping into my keyboard anymore. I didn't like how the mx brown were a bit scratchy and i really like how the rc930 keys spring back up. The tactile feel is also different. At first it feels like mx blacks when you just start pushing down on the keys because mx brown have a distinct click as you push down, but you start to realize that there is a tactile bump at the top of the key as you start typing. I also moved over my vortex backlit pbt keycaps from the ducky to the rc930. Makes the sound a bit more muffled i think and the feel of the keys a bit better, but the original keys have some texture to them just not as much but not as slick and smooth as the ducky shine og keys.

SynikHOLY F can you not learn to space and indent your rampant diatribes. My god. You talk a lot but I stopped after the first 3 lines that bled into one long run on paragraph. Jesus. My eyes are bleeding and you convinced me to never read anything you say again.

Stop being toxic, you wanted him to format his post properly, he did edit it to make it more readable. There really isn't a need for him to reply with 'ok I formatted it please reply if I made any typos or other mistakes', you could've just edited your post to say he fixed it rather than writing this post, that's a 'chump move' and kind of childish behaviour on your side, not his.

DraxorThat's not being toxic. He did it, and I shouldn't have to edit my comment. It is what it is. Here, for the sake of you thinking so negatively, I will remove the second post.
