Cross post update from my blog:
– Looks like there’s at least one issue with OSX support; the keyboard doesn’t work prior to login, which means it doesn’t work for entering your password at the login screen. I’ve heard (but don’t have a written source) that this happens with some Noppoo keyboards too due to the NKRO implementation, which seems to further confirm what some people are thinking, that this has Noppoo internals.
-Other thing: So after I finished the review, I unplugged the RK and set it aside. Plugged it in today about 16 hours later, and it had automagically LOST the custom programming I flashed onto it. It was back to stock. Not sure what’s up with this, but I have flashed it back and I will test periodically to see if I can repeat the behavior. It’s possible that I somehow shorted something while disassembling the keyboard, but with it unplugged, doesn’t seem like that would’ve mattered. Anyway, will report back if it happens again.
