My V1 still going strong. When it came out all it was missing for me was the extra 4 media keys :| I reprogrammed Prnt Screen Scroll and Pause for my volume keys since they are never used anyway. This is the best board on the planet, and honestly something i've wanted for over a decade. May pick this one up as i meant to get a backup. Never need or want another keyboard again.

That's how I felt.
I'm considering a metal case for it.
Don't know if it's a generic fit.
But I also own 2.
A v1 and v2.
Love them both.
Wish they would redrop or release a v3.
