Are you an outcast/misfit if you get the 104 key version? My impression is that 90% of keyboard enthusiasts use tenkeyless.

bulleoYes, definitely a misfit. You cannot join the club. Just playin.. I just like my trackball close to the kb, more ergonomic for my purpose.

bulleoI'm a video game playing freak. I only used fullsized keyboards thinking nothing else existed until I read about the Royal Kludge on Keychatter. In my 5 months using TKL I will never see the reason to go back to 104. TKL is just perfect for my needs. Everyone is different. If you want 104. Buy it. If you want to try TKL, go for it. I think after you use TKL you'll never use 104 again. But that's my opinion.

bulleoThat's a safe assumption, but use whatever you prefer. Don't base your decision on what others use. In the end, it's your keyboard and it's your life. I personally prefer 60% boards, but like I said, that's my preference. For me, I realized I almost never use the F-row or the middle cluster/arrows even. I play alot of CSGO and other competitive games and haven't found any issues with the compact keyboard. I can't say the same for MMO's though... So it's important to know what you want to use your keyboard for and what keys you often hit.
Anyway, use/buy what you like so long as you're happy. Do note that 104's cost more (in this case, $10 more than TKL) and if you're shopping for keycaps, you'll have to spare an extra 20-30 bucks for the numpad kit... just thinking about it hurts and my only board bigger than a 60% is a Novatouch TKL hehe.

Pineconepok3r is amazing for mmo. having the dip switch 3 allows you to have an easy access to all of the f keys and that gives your another row of keybinds :)
