Hi. Just wondering how you would describe the thickness of these please?

chancingI have a similar one that is roughly 1/4 inch thick (made by Johnstons of Elgin for Royal Speyside, so I'm guessing it's thickness will be similar). I was surprised when it first came in, how "thin" it looked, compared to some cheaper, fluffy fleece or merino wool blankets I have, but it's very dense. It's awesome, and every chick I've had in my place has complimented on it (none of my guy friends ever even looked at it twice, haha).

This is a follow up comment to my previous comment. My previous purchase were made of 100% lambs wool, NOT cashmere which is in this DROP.  I didn't realize there is that much difference in price!! 54.99 vs 249.99 for a blanket with the same visual appearance and feels very soft like cashmere.

forker30368Cashmere is crazy expensive, since so little is produced each year. The price difference is actually (and unfortunately, haha) correct. For example (this may be an extreme example, as they are considered one of the top mills in the world): $800+ https://www.johnstonsofelgin.com/us/home-interiors/cashmere-throws-blankets.html?___store=us vs around $300 https://www.johnstonsofelgin.com/us/home-interiors/merino-blankets-throws.html?___store=us

ThisisntbicYou're absolutely right. I just compared my 100% cashmere sweater to the 100% lambswool throw that I purchased in last years drop. Big difference! I'm now very tempted! Thanks for pointing that out.

I purchased these in a previous drop when the price was reasonable under $55. This time it's out of the question being the price has gone up to $249.99 reduced from $800. Somebody's goof?? Must be!!!

chadrandomHi! From the vendor: "the paisley is a jacquard weave, so may be slightly different on the reverse. The check is mirrored on the other side"

These look so beautiful. If I could just stop buying fountain pens I would grab it. I have a similar scarf that I paid about the same amount of money for, and it was absolutely worth it.Cashmere is warmer than almost any other common materials. The only issue is the cost.

SkipPpyes agreed. i just found Massdrop, and i had no idea there were so many fountain pen enthusiasts out there. i love it. too much. i was planning to buy 1 or 2, and then noticed that if i bought all the fountain pens i love on this site, i'd be dumping hundreds of dollars each month (or week) into a pen collection that would rarely be used. this site is going to make me practice restraint.
