I don't really like the look of the numbers to be honest. I think dice look nicer when they have indents for the numbers and they're not just printed on, but I don't know how much that affects precision

thekokirikidAside from aesthetics, I have had issues with durability and surface printed numbers.
Contact with other dice and hard surfaces have a tendency to chip the numbers off.

RgconnerI keep my stone dice with printed numbers in their own bag, and it seems to help keep them in good shape. The numbers look as good as when I got them several months ago.

thekokirikidThe issue with gemstone dice is that "indented" numbers have to be carved/machined, and this affects the integrity of the dice surface, is way easier to chip. MDG's new label process in the later kickstarter is much better that the first few (I've participated in a few of them now, and specifically was one of the first backers on these when they were kickstarted). I use these dice every Sunday in a wyrmwood dice tower and have not experienced any surface wear yet.
