I don't want to shit on this drop because it IS cool, but I end up questioning its value. You can easily make your own BOB for much cheaper (and hella more fun) than just buying one straight up. But if you got money to burn, I say go for it.

weatherlight47Beat me to it. The price seems okay from searching Amazon on individual item prices, but most items feel like advertisement placements. One does not need name brand glow sticks or celebrity endorsed knives. Everything can be bought in greater bulk at lesser price.
I never understood the intended target market of these products. Being prepared for emergencies goes much further than a single tacti-kewl backpack of random commercialized "survival" stuff.

weatherlight47I went through and added up the items(at the cheapest I could find) and considering what you get and what you spend, it is worth it. But, you could do the same thing for cheaper or at the same price with much more quality materials too. But if you want something quicker you do only end up spending about 20 bucks more than the individual cost even with shipping.
