Sailormade Bracelets

For four generations, the family behind Sailormade crafted beautiful brass hardware for others. Then in 2010, they decided to start designing products themselves. Inspired by summers spent fishing on Cape Cod, these bracelets are a reminder of the simple, boundless pleasures of the sea. They’re made of folded, braided Italian leather or authentic marine rope, and each one features Sailormade’s signature brummel hardware. Invented in the late 19th century and standard issue in the British Royal Navy by 1895, the brummel hook was an ingenious way to quickly attach and raise signal flags. For the folks at Sailormade, it’s the ultimate example of form following function. This brummel hardware is made by lost-wax casting in four parts and finished with great care by hand.
