I own two pairs of these. Outstanding boots - comfort, durability, and performance for the weight. Traction is far far superior to my Asolos in sandy, granite, wet, and slick conditions. Have about 1000 miles on them between the two pairs. Only weakness is the top lacing bracket can be tweaked/bend a bit. But nothing has gotten close to being broken. They are are go-to boot for desert, above tree line and anywhere in between.
