I wonder how the sizing is. I hate to buy shoes online that I'm not familiar with.

T1018@massdrop - i think this is a really important point here. I think you should establish a like-new 2nd hand gear marketplace / return policy so that people feel Massdrop's customer service is equal to their discounts. The problem you are creating is twofold: either I go to a local retailer and try on these shoes, then screw them on their time and effort by buying from you instead (which hurts local business) or I buy them w/o trying on, and then get stuck with shoes that don't fit, coming to the conclusion that I won't ever buy shoes from Massdrop again. This isn't even about sizing unknowns — even Altra changes their shoes up from version to version and people end up unhappy with what they expected to fit. Consider this a big product request?

octavecatThat's an interested take on a common request - most people want us to enable some kind of gear swap, which I would love to see as well. However, your point is more that our members could buy something, and if it doesn't fit, then they could resell it here as well. The advantage being that it would be somewhat of a certified purchase, and you would only be out a small amount (I would guess $5-10 to cover shipping). So you would still bear a bit of risk in time and money, but it wouldn't be 100% risk, because if it doesn't fit then you could probably find another buyer. Is this about right? I've messaged this to our Product Development team. Thanks for the input!

DannyMilksThat's exactly it. Thanks. In the ideal version, massdrop fronts the $ for the buyback and handles the resale instead of creating a seller marketplace because then you get into user ratings and all the awfulness of disputes. This is also neat because users could get items from drops they missed out on.

T1018Buying a shoes online can be a gamble due to different sizing given for each shoes manufacturer. Best is for you to measure the length of your feet and compare it with the sizes chart. If you're not feel comfortable, you may opt for extra 0.5 size. It may loose a bit, but it will definitely fits in.
