I prefer the MF8 because it has a crossfader which I can use with Ableton Live, but honestly they're pretty similar. The MF8 doesn't have transport controls, so if you need them pick up a NanoKontrol. It also doesn't have dedicated Solo buttons, which can be a little infuriating.
