Sennheiser PC37X randomly goes bad after disconnecting the cable ?
Greetings, Yesterday I was using my headset like normal with my macbook, just listening to music and on a call with people like usual, and the headset was perfectly fine. The stock wire that came with the headset is extremely long and yesterday it annoyed me very much that it kept getting tangled with itself, so I decided to see if the cable is replaceable. I pulled out the cable from the headset and saw the adapter, and looked online for a replacement. Upon plugging it back in, the audio sounded extremely muffled and washed out. We are working on bring on more wireless options, we always would like to hear your suggestions as well. There are the industry standards such Sennheiser and Shure, however there are other great options. Galaxy, Samson, Rode, Nady, to name a few.
In the near 20 years I have been playing bass, I have used many different wireless options. I usually stayed with a hard wired connection, just worked better for me, despite the often on-stage entanglements. Yet, I cannot stress enough that no wireless system; whether it be for instrument or voice, is impervious to interference. I have had to swap a whole bands packs during shows due to unforeseen interference, I have spent hours walking around the block A-B'ing identical packs until the ONE with no issues was found.
So just keep this in mind when searching for a wireless solution.
