Just to confirm, this is for a brand new, unopened box, Q8FN TV - correct?
Does this include full Samsung warranty?? Someone from Massdrop needs to respond here! I am not seeing any mention of it on the product overview. Or am I just missing it? EDIT: Ok, I do see "Samsung’s 1-year warranty" listed in the Included: section, and "*Your TV will be registered for you based on the information provided" at the end of the delivery disclaimer, so I assume that it is with full warranty. It would still be nice if someone with Massdrop confirmed this though, on such a high-dollar item.

will Samsung Q8FN 82" model be added to the list?
Does anyone know if sales tax is changed for shipment to Texas?
Does anyone know if this is from a Samsung certified retailer?
Does anyone know if the this is from a Samsung certified retailer?
Boy this is tempting for the 65". Best Buy is $2500, and Perks at Work is $2100.
Is this the same model that was going for $999 at Costco? The updated stand is a welcome (hopeful) improvement over the center one. I had a refurb previous model, and the picture was excellent, but the stand was crooked, and there were regular glitches in the system. So, if they're worked all that out, good.

This is for the Q8, the Costco model is the Q6; which is definitely not as good as the Q8 and Q9.

You're absolutely right. Thank you. This really is a good price.
Do the ship to the Netherlands

1397 here. Samsung QN55Q7FN FLAT 55” QLED 4K UHD 7 Series Smart TV 2018 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B079YXXHPX/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_D4AwCb8D7Y52K
Hello83
That's a different TV - the Q7FN - big difference between the 7 and the 8.
Why does no-one want this? Are the Q8's not that great vs LG or Sony's counterpart?

Better in brightness.
Oh man, this is tempting. $2000 for the 65"... full array local dimming, no burn-in worry. Now, what in the world to do with my 65" Panasonic plasma that still has tons of life left?! I assume if the minimum people don't join then no charge is made. Is this correct? EDIT - Damn, down to $1829 for the 65" now? Hmm. I may just have to do this. 5 buyers needed though. Anyone else sitting on the fence on this one?

can someone explain me why does this tv cost that much? its not oled
Cferrer1983
It has close to OLED contrast ratio (but not the full blacks) and is much brighter than OLED with no burn in worries. I do think Samsung is overpricing the QLED TVs, but they certainly have value over a $600 4k TV.

Great question. I do know that it is cheaper on Greentoe. Usually us and they only work with authorized retailers.
65" will fit perfectly in my living room!
How about a 75?
I'm in
65" Q8 for $1899? Wow!
