Massdrop's whole thing is getting good prices. You think they'd invest the time and money negotiating with companies and organizing logistics just to fuck it up by setting arbitrarily high shipping rates? Nah man. Massdrop is based in the states and because of that, their criteria is all based on the states. Keeping that in mind, they could just ignore international shipment logistics (all those forms and bullshit are a headache plus there's the additional cost of international support which they endure for some reason), and not miss very many purchases.
Sure, shipping is expensive, but honestly it's impressive that Massdrop ships internationally at all. Sometimes the price is still great after international shipping but most of the time, you can't even get the stuff Massdrop sells where I am (Thunder Bay) so I'm grateful they bother with international shipping, even if the cost is substantial.
If you want cheap shipping from companies in the states, move to the states. Otherwise, be glad they bother with it at all, despite people like you talking shit.
