I'm a young guy but I inherited an old levi strauss belt from the sixties and I must have worn it every day from when I was 16 until I was 22 or 23 when eventually, the buckle broke.
The cast iron buckle was actually the weak point in a f**king leather belt. Not a single one of the notches had even THOUGHT of tearing after all those years.
That left an impression on me.
I'm hoping this belt lives up to that legacy.
