Whether you’re on a thru-hike or traveling in a foreign country, the Sawyer personal water filtration bottle provides you with potable drinking water in seconds. Weighing just 5.5 ounces, the 1-liter bottle uses Sawyer’s 0.1-micron hollow-fiber filter to remove bacteria, particles, and protozoa. For convenience, the lid has been designed to work with most standard wide-mouth openings, so you can use it with your favorite bottle. Additionally, you can remove the filter from the lid and attach it to your hydration pack tubing to produce large quantities of drinking water quickly. Finally, the filter is fully field maintainable and can be cleaned by backwashing it with the included syringe.
