Portable Water Purification
Whether you’re on a thru-hike or traveling in a foreign country, Sawyer Select filters and purifiers provide you with potable drinking water in seconds. Each bottle combines Sawyer’s 0.1-micron hollow-fiber filter with a proprietary foam membrane to improve taste and remove bacteria, particles, protozoa, and pesticides. With three different filter options available, you can choose the level of filtration based on your needs. The Select S1 removes the standard contaminants, the Select S2 additionally removes viruses, and the Select S3 removes heavy metals and viruses. The bottles can hold 20 ounces of water, are made of soft silicone, and feature a sports cap reducer so you can drink directly from the bottle.

How It Works
After finding a water source, unscrew the filter, fill the bottle to the max fill line, and screw the filter back onto the bottle. With the filter secured, squeeze the bottle in an alternating motion for at least 10 seconds. Open the cap and drink directly from the filter or pour it into another container.
