It didn't was too bad for me, I was able to pull a Spellskite and a $2 card every now and then. I think I barely got past what I paid for, but I pulled some decent infect cards, think imma make a deck around it.

Just got my shipment of 3 of these bundles. Wow, what a bad pull... best I got was a Wurmcoil Engine and Thrun. I wasn't expecting my "money's worth", but really, I don't think I got even 30% value back. The same happened with the Dragons bundle last month, so this will definitely be the last loose pack Drop I'm going to participate in. I hope others faired better than me!

On coolstuffinc these packs average $7 a piece, so this price isn't bad!

Not really a deal. $40 is what these Booster packs go for. Just more affordable than buying a box of each at best eBay prices.

Umm.. Booster packs are $2 each at most comic stores, lets see if this sounds right; $2 x 6packs = $12 add Massdrop = cheaper. Massdrop selling for $37.99 and listing the MSRP as $23.94 so this totally makes sense.

Was back in the 9th Edition days, maybe its changed now but that shop closed to move over to Temecula. Unfortunately Lake Elsinore isn't the most profitable city for small businesses unless they're thrift store now.

Was a local store called Fun 'N Games, they had to move location to the next city over though so I don't know their current prices.

Toxic or not, an attitude of buyer beware is generally very healthy. Now, can you back up your claims as to how stringent and strict massdrop is inregaurds to loose packswith any sort of evidence? Or is that just something youve heard. Yes, youre right ive not yet participated in any drops, mostly becuase of a wary attitude twoards things such as this. Or simply not having the cash on hand in the admittedly short time ive been a member.
Please, by all means show me something to substantiate what youve said. I would love to be shown my wariness is not needed here.

You walked in the door and started beating a dead horse. If you had ASKED if the horse was dead we would have told you, if you had LOOKED at the horse you could have seen it was dead, but you had already made up your mind so you just walked in, head held high with whip in hand, and said "This horse is lazy and will not work, I would only pay 60% of your lowest offer!" But I digress, you asked for proof, and I delivered. That's nothing to be impressed with as information is cheap and readily available, especially in this digital age. Also, You need not be so... Lets go with ignorant in your posts. You had an ignorant viewpoint. I had an educated one. You asked for me to prove my statement, and I did. You never actually thanked me for it, but defended your ignorance as "healthy". The world would be a better place if people sought out their own enlightenment rather than demand it be given to them by others. You needn't go about being quite so sensitive about it.
While this has been fun, the drop is nearly over. I hope you find your positive enlightenment, Scott (and some cheap MTG packs along the way).

CylvreKudos, bro.
A good number of posts on these drops are just people being redundant and not doing any leg work. You did the leg work for them. If we ever cross paths, I'll buy you a Surge™.

Box maping is a thing. Dont expect much from buying unsealed booster boxes, as the packs have likely been picked through. If this was 24$, id be down.

Lerath666Every time there is a drop for loose packs there is always at least one person crying about mapping. The truth is Massdrop very, VERY stringently screens the few vendors that they allow to do loose pack drops and shipping, or they do it themselves. They have made the vendors take video of the entire logistics process from opening Wizards sealed product to sealing the shipping boxes. This isn't some shady corner of Ebay or some jerk at your LSG looking to scam you, this is a company with a stellar reputation that they back with excellent customer service (and you Scott H. have never actually even participated in a drop, nor have you made any comments besides this baseless and toxic accusation).
TL;DR: Massdrop does not sell mapped packs!
