Can someone confirm for me are these universal fit, or Universal needles? The text is confusing.

SavagepinkI am pretty sure these are Universal needles not universal fit. So they are the specific general purpose needle made by Schmetz.

SavagepinkHi @Savagepink,
This drop is for Universal Needles in sizes 70, 80, 90, and 100 for general sewing of knit and woven fabrics. They also fit most home sewing machines. I typically use these Schmetz Universal size 80 needles for sewing everything from quilting cotton to fleece and beyond. Some home sewing machines like Berninas require special needles for optimal sewing conditions.
We are still working on sourcing Microtex and Top Stitch needles for a future drop but quantities are limited but we hope to have good news for you guys soon!
Hope this helps!

RitaNThanks Rita. I committed on a misunderstanding then - I read your text "universal fit". I will have to cancel this one. Shame. :(

SavagepinkHi @Savagepink, what sewing machine do you have? These Schmetz needles fit most home sewing machines.
If you'd like to cancel your order, go to your Transactions page (https://www.massdrop.com/transactions) and then click the "Cancel Order" button.
Thanks,
~ Rita

RitaNThanks @RitaN I did figure out how to cancel. It's not that they won't fit, it's that I prefer a sharp point rather than a ball point. I use the Microtex for piecing. :)
