I've never used a fountain pen before, but this is intriguing, what kind of ink needs to be used with this? Can I use a pentel energel cartridge?

czg5Schneider describes the ID as the cartridge being a universal fountain pen refill. I'm not familiar with the pentel energel cartridge.

czg5Probably not. I believe gel ink is a different formulation for a specific kind of pen. International cartridges can be found online; search " international ink cartridge". Also you can find a international ink converter which is a device that fits in the pen like a cartridge but one which can be filled with any number of bottled inks also often found on Massdrop or online. Good luck with your purchase.
