If the images are accurate, looks like the 'Fine' series glasses from Zwiesel: https://marken.zwiesel-kristallglas.com/shop/en/productline/productline.action?category=000015&productline=000054&brand=schott
Restaurants buy cases of 24 of these at ~$200 (so, ~$8.33/glass). At $30 for a set of 6, this is a pretty sweet deal for some sturdy, dishwasher-safe universal glasses.
As for style appropriateness, SZ and others recommend them for 'full-bodied whites/young reds,' which is about as close to a one-size-fits-all universal glass as you'll find. In shape, they're similar to other, much higher-end 'universal' tasting glasses (think Zalto Universals), but slightly thicker & sturdier for everyday use, not to mention wildly cheaper.

Even though this is a more expensive drop than the other one an all purpose glass makes more sense.

So for somebody who enjoys wine, but doesn't really know much about it, how do these compare to the SZ Audience glasses also on Massdrop? Is one preferable for certain types of wine than the other? I've ordered both sets, but I'll admit to not knowing which ones I should use with which wines or which occasions.

jimbolayaIm also interested to hear some thoughts on this, as I am buying wine glasses more for visiting friends and family than myself.
