None of Scott's shoes run like their "drops". They have the same midsole thickness through a large percentage of the shoe so they have a more neutral feel. The "drop" comes into play with their early rise rocker in the forefront that gets you into toe off quicker. Makes for a lively shoe. I've always had trouble with zero drop where unless I'm fast and up on my foot it feels like a lot of extra effort to get up into toe off.
