My tracking also shows only the creation of the shipment/tracking number but nothing further, meaning UPS has yet to receive the package. I emailed massdrop support about it with no response so far.

dewittismI received an email on 12/24 indicating mine had been shipped but the latest on UPS Mail Innovations tracking on their website only says, "Shipment information received by UPS Mail Innovations."

Hey guys, Since the drop ended, we have placed the order with Luckies, paid for the invoice, and now I am happy to report that our order is on its way to us from UK! At the moment, it looks like we can expect to receive the shipment on Tuesday. Assuming no surprises, we should be able to ship everything out before the end of the week. That's right guys, we don't take holidays at Massdrop, and the only party we go to is fulfillment party! Happy holidays guys, I'll report back once I get more updates. Stay tuned...

Can I get this shipped to Australia as a Christmas gift for my sister and her fiance (who do world travel alot), though it would be billed against me here in the US?

TaniosAs far as I'm concerned MassDrop allows for separate billing\shipping addresses, so you shouldn't have much troubles here. Actually I'm not sure that they use billing address at all, only general card info.
But they won't mark it as gift though, so expect full price invoice inside.

To sum up story of my life and experience with amazon:
Amazon in US\CA - such price, wow, fast delivery, prime much good. Amazon International - so scare, much taxes, very cost, no delivery option.

Not trying to be a naysayer, as I really like this map, but I can get this on Amazon for 28 cents more (after shipping with Prime). I don't see the "Massdrop" effect on this one... :/
