Expert's take on Seagull movements compared to ETA (swiss brand who supplies Omega and Breitling and others).
Overall, the results are positive.

morechitlinsThat's not really a comparison of Seagull movements to ETA movements. That's a comparison of one Seagull movement, which is a copy of a popular ETA movement, to the real deal and the verdict is that Seagull does a good job copying.

TigoleI like Chinese mechanical watches, but I'm afraid this covers only half the truth. Quality control and general sanitary conditions at Seagull and other Chinese watch manufactures aren't up to par with Swiss, which results in a lot of skin debris and dirt ending up in the movement. Overall though not a bad deal for the money.
