The other Seeed Grove drop https://www.massdrop.com/buy/seeed-grove-iot-kit-for-raspberry-pi seems like a much better deal. Just doesn't have the manual.

Thanks again for joining this drop! Shortly after the drop ended, we submitted the group's order with the vendor for the SEEED GrovePi+ Starter Kit for Raspberry Pi. The vendor informed us that the bulk order was picked up and is on its way to our warehouse. Based on the tracking provided, the order is scheduled to arrive by 8/16.
We will keep the group updated throughout the fulfillment process. You can expect an update from us by the end of the day Pacific Time on 8/17.

As soon as the group's order is ready at the vendor's location, they will send the bulk shipment to our warehouse in New Jersey where our warehouse team will break it up into individual orders and ship them. The current estimated ship date from our warehouse is 7/19.

So, does it or does it not work with a Pi 3? The lack of answers is concerning and quite frankly gives me some pause on this whole massdrop thing.

Is this obsolete? Got the below from https://www.seeedstudio.com/item_detail.html?p_id=2240 GrovePi+ are compatible with Pi 2, please check the details from Dexter blog.
This product was replaced by a updated version GrovePi+ Starter Kit for Raspberry Pi (CE certified) (110060161).
