What's up with you Massdrop? The starter kit includes a wifi adapter, which the 3B does not need. You can get a case, hdmi cable, and microSD card for less than $20, and the Pi itself can be found for $25 on another website right now. Even if you need to buy a power adapter or ethernet cable, that would still be way cheaper than this combo.
theroflcopterI would like to see the website that has this raspberry pi model for $25 free shipped as I can not find one. The cheapest I can find it online is about $36-$37 bucks. Microcenter runs a special ongoing at $29.99 but its in store pickup only and limit 1 per customer.
Amazon on the following which is included in the bundle. The total is $80 which does not include shipping that you will pay on some of these items. Also, I am not sure about the quality or warranty on the parts I searched for as I was looking for the cheaper parts that I can find. Seeed stands behind their products and backs it with a warranty.

HDMI cable (1 m) - $5

Tex-ArozziArrow.com has it for $24.50, promo code RASPI30. Comes with free overnight shipping.
I'm not going to put together a shopping list for you, although mine wouldn't have that wifi adapter since the Pi has it built in. The kit is only useful if you need every single thing in it, which I seriously doubt, and even then the price is questionable. Otherwise, buy the Pi for $25, and pick and choose the extra bits you need.
Tex-ArozziHere's an incredibly similar kit, with Prime shipping. Amazon ASIN B01C6Q2GSY
and
Here's a 3.5" touch panel. Amazon ASIN B01FXC5ECS
However, you do have a point about the pricing of the units
