Hi everybody..I purchased the watch because to me for the money it looks like a nice piece ! Has anyone ever bought a Seiko from Massdrop before ? And If so..did you get a Certificate of Guarantee ? That is something I want to get with this purchase fromMassdrop..

Merickson88i never did, but to be honest, i cant really see why not. the idea is we are buying in bulk just like a retail store would. even the retail store would say you need to call the watch company if something goes wrong after 30 days or return in 30 days to store to get money back (store policy dependent)

RealtorJoemI understand what your saying..but to be honest Seiko watches are suppised to come with Cert of Guarantee with their watches. So, If we do not get a Cert of Guarantee with the watch..why not ? Im questioning the authenticity of the product if you do not get the cert which should come inside the watch manual in a sleeve. So, thats my thinking and well I will ask MASSDROP and if not or they do not know then I think I will cancel my order because I question the authenticity of the watch. Is it a replica and not a real Seiko...just my thoughts...thanks for your time !

Merickson88Pretty sure mass drop called the right phone number when they made a deal to order bulk from Seiko .. If you think mass drop is selling replicas it would shut the entire business down and it would have already been closed , they would never get away with this for a year.. if anything i would google "massdrop selling replicas" i bet you will get no results just people asking or questioning.. im running to work cant do much now.. But i am going to take the risk and i think its going to all work out... I dont work for massdrop .. i just joined the drop just like you.

Merickson88Wow!! That's ridiculous. A replica seiko really?? The watch is $80 something USD. Lol. Massdrop is legit and is not selling replIcas. Wow is all I can say. I Haven't ever left a comment here but this is too ridiculous not to say something too you. You're acting like you're spending real money like on a Rolex or omega. whatever you order you get the same packaging and box you would from anywhere. A rep $80 seiko!! thats a new one lol.

Merickson88Certificate is for warranty. Not authenticity as you seem to believe. And Massdrop did not advertise any warranty, so you do not get the card.

I can see worrying over something you're spending much more money on. and If you're buying off of some bs site or eBay maybe. Massdrop sells legit stuff. So you're deginitely junior here. Lol

coronado1945When you see the letter "K" after the model numbers, that means Malaysia. Anything made in Japan will have a "J" at the end. Then the numbers "1" or "2" after the "K's" and "J's" mean rubber strap or bracelet. Hope this helps you!
