ReSeVeGaYup. I just contacted support for the update. My estimated ship date was July 25th but got no confirm like you usually do when ordering from Drop.

I bought a couple of these watches from this drop and, as it turns out, I won't need them. This morning I was offered a new Stowa Marine at a great deal and it was too good to pass up. I really like the Japan signed clasp, it’s a unique touch.
There’s many good reasons why Seikos get the love they do, and these little watches are an example of it. For many, their first automatic watch is a Seiko 5, I know mine was. It’s still running, -9 to -11 spd depending on position. No hacking, no handwinding, but at less than $100 usd it’s an amazing deal.

Does the domed face look as cheap and toylike in person as it does in google images?

CromulentI think it’s going to depend on choice of color ways. If you stick with the black or white dials with non-good accents, it should come off well. Try looking for some high res videos, preferably with outdoor shots

It’s quite hard to find a 23j1 for a decent price these days. I already own one but i’ll buy another just because I love that watch so darn much! It really is a beautiful piece
